About me

I'm Sebastian, a product and technology generalist based in Germany. I've spent most of my career working on strategy, product development, and applied technology, sometimes with early-stage projects, sometimes with established teams.

My interest in knowledge work, thinking tools, and AI brought me to Obsidian. From there I built Vault Operator, an autonomous AI layer for your vault. It runs on local or remote models, keeps your data where you want it, and the whole thing is open source.

Why Vault Operator

I wanted an AI that works inside my knowledge system, not next to it. One that can read my notes, follow my workflows, and actually do things instead of just answering questions. Working with Kilo Code in VS Code showed me what agentic loops look like when they operate inside another tool. Vault Operator is that idea applied to knowledge work.
